Ewe Beach, Hawaii
The DEA, working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, took four firearms, a bulletproof vest, a computer and five marijuana plants from the Ewe beach apartment of Victoria Schneider in Oahu on Sunday. Schneider was recently killed in a car collision with passenger Callindra Drogan.
The DEA said in a statement that it received information earlier this week suggesting that Schneider was growing marijuana in her apartment. DEA Assistant Special Agent in Charge Gordon Taylor said authorities obtained a warrant when it was discovered the apartment was not occupied and seized a number of items from Schneider's apartment but have not released specifics, including the complete inventory of items seized. A witness at the scene saw the DEA remove furniture and several bags from the apartment in addition to the items released in the statement.
Schneider has no prior felony convictions.
